How much sleep
How much sleep does your bird get every night?
Approx, of course.
For parrots, it's recommended that they get 10-12 hours of sleep a night. A good nights sleep is vital in keeping your bird happy & healthy!

Max goes to bed at 8:00 and wakes up around 6:00.

My cockatiel gets about 10-11 hours.

all birds all 27 go to bed at 5 pm sleep until 7.15 am then its all up and ready forthe day

Beekle is shut back in his cage any time after 7pm and has his cover put on as outside light fades (around 9.30pm atm). Cover gets taken off shortly after 8am.
As for how long he actually sleeps I have no idea but I have seen him have a doze during the day occasionally. As he's on his own during the weekday with only a radio for company I imagine he catches up on any missing sleep then.
He certainly seems cheerful enough.

I'd say my guys get about 10, sometimes less, depending on how the day goes.

My two parakeets get around ten. From eight at night to six in the morning, though they've gone to bed later for the past few days. They're still as goofy as ever!
