I have baby paraketts help

I just took in two lovley paraketts that were not taken care of very well, and now they have babies. I have read alot about how to take care of the mom so she can take care of her cute little babies. But what i need to know is what do you put on the bottom of the nesting box? I went to the pet store and got this string stuff and she don't like it and i feel bad that the babies are on wood. One more thing will the smallest of the babies be feed just the same as the big ones?

The parents feed the babies, as far as I know. I had some babies before and all the parents did was make a nest in a gourde that we put in there. There wasnt any nest material other than the gourde.

I know I'm not much help, so I hope you can find some good advice. And good luck.
