Smile Lovebird problem!!!!!!!!

Hi I have a black - masked lovebird (it's body is green, it's neck is yellow, it's face is black and it's beak is red)...And it is soooooo difficult. It's very timid and scared if anyone get's too close - especially hands. When I let it out of it's cage it's nearly impossible to catch. Since it is an adult, is it too late to tame? Any imput would be great!

Adult lovebirds that have never been tamed are really hard to tame. It can be done but it will take a lot of work, patience & energy. Do a google search for "taming adult lovebirds"

Here is one good link:

1st thing is to tame him you need him clipped wings that is , for reasons he will then need to depend on you more , no its not too late to tame him but you do need to take his flight away for now after you get him where you want him in training then let his wings grow back thats the best thing for now, it makes them more calmer and not so much in having free range and it helps
