Uh oh... I am never ashamed to denounce a bad store!! I do not care if they wanted to come and set authorities on me if they ever found out because everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I only 'bash' on very obvious neglect that not even the police could turn a blind eye to. ....
But if that's the case, I want a mod to tell me to stop. I never heard of that befre and was never stopped before :/

I wasn't tryin to sound like i was tellin you,you couldn't say their name if you were bashing them...I feel just like you do..the pet store in my area has already been investigated and shut down...last i knew they were liquidating their reptiles because they were neglecting and selling illegal ones for our state...I couldnt find articles of proof though to see if they were being closed for good.we went in to check them out,as we check out the birds all the time, and everything was as normal..I really do hope they close for good.I have seen nothing but bad reviews and heard bad experiences from so many people.

I've never witness anything like that at our pet stores but I've only been to two of them in our area. I have heard about some bad things from one store though but we never go there.

I find the the smaller chain stores are worse then like petco or petsmart IMO.

No don't get yourself in situations,
Darling, that you can't handle.

RIP Sammy....a few weeks ago,my first parakeet Chip passed away, and also in the same day,his brother Paint..from another clutch(his younger brother) passed away. They were such beautiful colors.Very hard to get around my area.Even breeding Chip has not produced any of his colors. Can only hope someday one of his 2 daughters can,but that is still awhile aways. The ambition for breeding has faded. They stay in my freezer until the next time the ground will be soft enough to finally lay their souls to rest, and with some other of my friends passed birdies... FLY FREE!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that. We managed to dig a hole for Sammy even though the ground was frozen but we put gallons of hot water to unfreeze it. Hes right next to Cassie.
