Great cage!! When I get my bird I definitely want to make my own. What did you use on the bottom, I can't tell. Is it easy to clean?

I used hardware cloth for them to walk on (same thing as the sides) but I also made a tray that slides underneath the grate like a conventional cage and in tht tray I had some leftover 12x12 self stick tiles that I stuck to the bottom of it. Then I put corn cob litter in it as you would any other cage.
As for the cleanup... I couldn't answer that yet because tonight is only their 2nd night in there so I haven't had to clean it yet.

Awesome cage Kay! How did I miss this thread? lol!
Wow- you did an amazing job on that!! Very impressive!
I am sure they are so happy in their new house... they have so much room in there!
It looks more like furniture than a cage- I love cages like that.
So, how is it to clean? From the way you described it, I'll bet it's not bad at all?

Great cage - but I'm not gonna let my guys see it!!

I found 2 'tiels and think that I also found Waldo. Is that correct?

Way to go - thank for sharing.

Just wondering how the new cage is working out. Do they chew on the wood?
