Question Small Parakeets?

I was just wondering if a parakeet that is three inches without the tail is small. In the book I have about parakeets they say they get to be four to six inches without the tail. My parakeets are only about three inches without the tail, and seem smaller than any other parakeets I've seen at stores. Are they just small boned?

I know english budgies are like three inches bigger than normal budgies, but they are also more expensive, so they can't be the parakeets that I see that are bigger than mine...
Anyone want to say anything....?

I've seen some that were very small at work, they told me they were very young, some were still being handfed.

Maybe you have a runt.
you could change his name to "MiniKeet"

I seriously doubt that my babies are still..uhhh...babies. Soda I've had since January, and Pony since April.
That's such a cute name, though, that'll be one of their nicknames.
Hey! Maybe I could find more "minikeets" and start breeding them and sell them for $$$! I'd be rich!!!
