What a spoiled rotten birdie you have! He almost looks like he is playing the flute in the first picture. Very cute. Did you tell him he needs to save some of the tree for later?

In this one you can see how short his tail is right now. He lost his longest tail feathers and they are about halfway grown back in. Still my pretty baby though.....

Thanks for sharing - he is beautiful and obviously loves the camera - or is that complete oblivion?

He's a handsome fella, that's for sure. You're lucky to have him!

I went to the kitchen a couple of hours ago (it's 5 a.m. now) and my "baby" is now sleeping on a perch instead of laying on the bottom of his cage! I know, pictures pictures pictures. Maybe I can get Bub to help me with that!

Maybe you can answer this - I read recently that burning candles near the birds is not good. After all these years of having different sorts of birds I'm just now hearing that - and I burn lots of candles around the house! Does proximity to the bird make a difference - what's the deal?? Everybody in my family is very aware of the danger of Teflon, but I sure would hate to give up my KY Bourbon (candles).

Thanks again - give Toby a snuggle and a kiss from his Aunt Critter!!
