Angry Pet shop gave me wrong sex chinchillas!

so
I bought my chinchillas from petland a year ago. They told me that they are both males. I went to the vet to get them checked out and make sure they didn't have any hair rings around their peepee. She checks down there and finds vajayjays. I'm really upset because I named them Huey and Riley they know their names very well and the petshop never told me how old they are. Oh and I bought a ferret safari cage that they told me was a chinchilla cage. Is there anything I can do

Are they both females? As long as they are not one male and one female, then you are lucky (I adopted 4 "female" degus. Turned out they were three females and one male and all the females were pregnant – hence, "16degus".)

The cages I use are the Midwest CritterNation double unit cages. I think they are appropriate for Chinchillas too. (Don't know what the safari ferret cage looks like.)

(PS: I have a female budgie named Riley.)
