Quick question for all you Jird folks out there, Im wondering how much water should a Jird be drinking per day? Ive read things that they that since theyre from the middle eastern area theyve become very good at getting water through their food, but the past couple of days it doesnt seem as if theyve had much, if any to drink.
I have the water at a decent height and in the same corner as it was in their original cage (Ive only had them for about 2 weeks now).

I am quite surprised at how much they enjoy tearing up toilet paper and cardboard though!

Any and all help is appreciated! and also, any recommedations as to chew toys to keep their teeth at a healthy level will be helpful!
Thanks in advance =)
Amanda

Hiya yeah thats completely normal, mine hardly drink ever although i did only catch mine once drinking and it was at night, mine loveee tearing up paper and cardboard, i give mine the insides of a toilet roll to chew on and pieces of wood from pet shops, ive not long brought some sticks and they're really good, apart from that i cant realy suggest anything else as mine are kept happy with that

One has an odd part on his tail, so we named him Wolverine and the other is obsessed with running in his wheel, so we decided to name him Captain (After Captain America). We're such nerds! Ill post pics when I get my post count up =)
