Pregnant gerbil i think......help pleaseeee ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

ok here are the characteristics:
just lying there and stretching sometimes
all ways getting humped by her friend
and is a Little bit fatter than the black one
but the funny thing is that i bought them both from pet smart under the female section..........is it very likely or not so likely that they mixed them up

When it comes to gerbils and basically any other animal I don't listen to what the pet store says.

Do the gerbils genitals look different from one another? Like do they both look the same or do they look different.

You can look at this sexing site to determine the genders.

http://www.egerbil.com/sexing.html

If you do have different genders then it's very likely they are pregnant.

my name is Jonni,
i'm weird for making my username

Every pet shop will sometimes get it wrong.

Take the British version of Pet Smart for example (Pets at Home). They are useless for sexing animals correctly, loads of people end up with litters of rats, gerbils, hamsters etc.

Have you double checked the genders of your gerbils?

sometimes gerbils do just get fatter and lazier mabey if shes an older gerbil but its highly likely that she is pregnant...check the genitals the females are usually close together and the males a little further apart ......let us no the outcome lol
