Exclamation Guinea pig ailment???HELP!

I have several piggies and a few urgent questions so, sorry if I take a while.

I recently purchased a mom and baby pig and I noticed that the mom sorta lays on her side when I hold her cradled in her arms. Also I tried putting them in a bigger cage and when she stood up on her hind legs she started to fall backwards. I caught her in time but I'm concerned about her hurting herself, so I put them back in the smaller cage. An inner ear infection??

I also have 2 twin piggies, females. One of them seems to be losing a little fur on her side. Well, its thinning, actually. They're only 1 1/2 yrs old.

Any ideas?? Thanks so much this forum is a godsend.

I would say a trip to a cavy knowledgeable vet is in order.

What you are describing could be several different things that should all be seen by a vet.
