= ^ ~ ^ = Lost a Roach

Among the exiting things that happened today, one of the not so happy occourances was that I lost one of my two Roaches.

It's a fish obviously, but it's from the europe area and is freshwater.

The two Roaches were simply known as Roach 1 and Roach 2 , the one that suddenly decided to float on its side and sink to the bottom of the tank was the tattier of the two and over time had developed a grey patchy look on the stem of his tail.

I dont think I will replace the roach though because most of the fish are starting to get bigger now and they all need as much space as they can get in there, despite my tank being a 200 gallon one.

Sherwood my mirror carp is obviously growing quite rapidly.

Bit sad though as I was not expecting to lose a roach just like that, I wonder if the other one will miss it's companion.

Awww...sorry for your loss...

What does a roach look like??? Is it similar to a loach? I only know of loaches. How big do roaches get??

I would love to see recent tank pics too!

It appears I dont have any recent pics of my Fish tank or my coldwater fish.

The only pic I could find was a general view of my living room which includes my Coldwater tank, stereo and speakers.

Note : The strap like Howea on the left of the picture is gone now , and also the square table with rounded edges is now on a semi permanent rustic wooden base.

And also the snowflakes on the walls have been replaced with Blue Vinyl floor tile raindrops, and I also painted the coving grey to symbolize the underside of rainclouds.

I should think a few fish that are half visable in the tank in this picture at the time are gone now, I will have to get some more pics taken .

Can I live there? It looks so neat and put together. Love the colors of your walls and the table on the floor ... Nice tank do you use it as your "T.V."?

Sorry about your Roach (I'm not familiar with that species either please post a pic so we can see what it looks like)... Even though it was a fish it is still disappointing and sad when we loose one of our beloved water friends.... I had an angel fish for about 10 years that I was quite attached, she passed on several years ago, sometimes I still get upset about how she passed on. Sorry about your loss .
