10 Gallon Update

A couple of weeks back I started running the AquaClear hang on back power filter and that is running well. It is quiet as long as the water level is very high, which is a bit of a drag, but that should be okay.
It is loaded with sponge, carbon pouch, and bio media packet.

Today I finally got a new heater... It's November and winter is inevitable.

My local supply shop stocks alot of Hagen stuff, so hubby picked up an Elite 50w adjustable thermostat heater. ($32)

Before I start it up, has anybody used these ?

My tank is taller than a regular 10 gal, more like a 12 gal.
Thanks alot.

Please have pets spayed or neutered and wearing an ID tag.

Never tried it but I think 50W is good enough for 10gal tank.
