29 gal

we have a 29 gal tank sitting here waiting to be set up, well it was set up at one point, but my boyfriend made a wood stand.. then he set the tank up on it let it run for like a month or two (we werent sure what we wanted in it.. and i kinda fell in love with the bubbles.. lots and lots of bubbles..) then decided it should prolly be finished or sealed somehow.. brain child of mine.. so we took it all back down.. very sad. anyway, we'll be moving soon and setting the tank back up.. and getting fishies this time..
i really want guppies, but i want something else too, any suggestions?
can a black moore be kept with guppies? prolly not huh, cuz moores are cold water fish right? i dunno, any suggestions would be great.

Hmm, well guppies are pretty but not really a good idea to get males and females both unless you want hundreds of little guppies within a week, i had 2 males and 2 females in a 10 gallon tank and within a few weeks i had guppie soup, literally. but thats just my thought, its really up to you.
here is a link with different kinds of fish you could keep.

hope it helps

I agree. I would get only male guppies or only female guppies to make sure you don't have more guppies than you can handle. I like betas but you can't have betas and male guppies because the beta will think the male guppies are other betas and attack them. I like mollies. They're pretty and easy to take care of. Good luck and show us pictures!

it will prolly be a month or more before we get our tank set up. just trying to figure out what were gonna get. we might just get a gold fish or two to start with, but not the gold ones.. is care for all goldfish the same? i would like a Black moor, and my boyfriend wants a Ryukin. Will two be ok in a 29gal tank? should they be kept in larger groups?
