Added Safe Start now have white fuzz

I just added safe start to my aquarium, which is only 1.5 gallon and not I am getting white fuzz (for the best description) on the top of the water as well as on one of my rock ornaments in the tank.

Can someone tell me what is happening and what I need to do? I am new to this all and have 2 African Dwarf Frogs.

For 2 ADF you need like 5 gallons at LEAST! Bigger the better though, they would do best in 10 gallons and bigger.
The fluff might be from waste, dirty ornaments, disease.. I don't know it's hard to tell. Pictures and water parameters and a better description (frequency of tank cleaning, diet etc) would help.

FOr now, I highly reccommend a larger tank.

The fuzz is probably unrelated to the product you added unless you dumped in a huge bottle or something.

A 1.5 gallon is too small for your frogs and also to small for a beginner to keep properly cycled (which is what the SafeStart is for). I'd upgrade to a 5-gallon, it sounds like water quality in the 1.5 is deteriorating. How strong is the filter? Sometimes scum builds up if the filter is undersized for the tank.

Good luck!
