Aquarium Pictures

Today I took a couple pictures of my 10-gallon .

I finally clipped the water primrose (it was totally out of control and I kept putting it off) and I planted the cuttings so hopefully I'll end up with some new water primrose plants =).

I want more plants...next time I'm at the fish store I'll be getting some water wisteria and maybe more water primrose.

Was it green from algae or something else? If I spot algae I clean it right away and the water never becomes discolored (but I rarely have algae problems except sometimes in Romeo's tank).

Didja test the water? It might've been green for some other reason.

yeah our water tested perfect. the fish guy at petco was mystified too. when we set up our 30 it turned so green you couldn't see thru it. we would change the water every other day and it would just to the same thing. then we left it alone for a couple weeks and it cleared on it's own and it is now the clearest water. we recently set up a 55 and the same exact thing happened. we had bamboo in that one i forget what plants we had in the 30. i personally think it was some weird cycle thing but my husband is convinced it was the plants and had no interest in a planted tank anymore
