Aquarium Pictures

I took some pictures of a few of my aquariums today ^_^.

My betta, Romeo, who is getting very old and has slowed down a lot lately...I'm worried:

The tank above looks pretty over-grown but that's the way I like it .

Oh, and on the first tank some of the plants are newer and haven't filled out yet.

My frog, Kazuki:

Kazuki wouldn't turn around so you can't see his face, hehe. I should take a picture of the whole tank some time...it has live plants too (there aren't any plants in the corner he's in, though).

I'm in awe over your aquariums. They look gorgeous I'm sure your critters love their home as well. I love the "overgrown" look.It looks more true-to-life...in the wild fishies have lots of plants to hide in etc. Great work

Thank you! Yeah, I like having everything over-grown for the same reasons . When fish have more places to hide they don't get as stressed and can get away from each other sometimes (which prevents fights) .

He's fat now, haha. The frog pics are a bit older. He had also just shed so that might've had something to do with it.

He gets frozen bloodworms a few times a week but when those pics were taken he still wasn't eating many. Plus at first I wasn't sure how much to feed him since I didn't want him to be too fat .

Oh, and I refuse to feed blackworms because they freak me out . I had bought some for the newts a while back but they scared me so much I wouldn't look at them and they ended up dying.

Wow I love that tropical tank of yours the plants are just fantastic , so many places for the fish to hide.

I have had atropical tank for several years now but it's not the biggest fishy homestead and I have very rarely had plants in there , hopefully things will change if I get a new tank for them , and they will finaly get the room and plants to hide that they deserve.

tropical tanks can be so colourful.

Yes, it is. Most likely I'll be upgrading to a 20-gallon, though . After I'm done with the saltwater tank .
