Smile Big Red pictures

After water changes Big Red is always especially active so I took a few pictures. They are really bad but oh well.

Moving his stuff back to where it was, lol:

Checking to make sure nothing else was moved:

I have to get him a bigger shell soon as he's molted a few times and is probably due for a shell change. Unfortunately I'm having a tough time finding the right kind in such a big size. I'm going to have to order online, I guess.

The question that begs to be asked...How big is Big Red? About the size of the palm of your hand? It's hard to tell in the pics.

Yup, he's about the size of the palm of my hand . He'd probably happily sit there, too, he's a friendly guy. Big Red will take algae wafers from my hand .

Hahaha .

And thank you . Yeah, as hermit crabs get bigger they need a bigger shell.
