I'm pretty sure frogs don't enjoy having salt in their water. You could probably get away with not adding salt...get them from a petstore that keeps them in pure freshwater.

Also, don't blame yourself if you lose a few even when your water parameters are normal. Guppies tend to be mass bred and many are inbred too...so I think they are genetically weak. That's why I feel many have such short lifespans when they are supposed to be "hardy". I love fancy guppies but I ended up switching to platies because I was sick of having the guppies die. I'm sure I'll have more eventually, though, as they are gorgeous! I'll just get them from a breeder this time .

at a pet store guppies are relatively cheap, but this time i was going to use the website luvnature gave me and get these really nice looking guppies

they are really nice and i would like to keep them, i have gotten them from petstores before and i was always disappointed, with salt or without, and i really hope these from this breeder will give me better luck....so i take it i would be ok without giving them salt?
