I think it would be fine as long as she got a BIG tank and good filters and water changes

Her tank has also got some very brown stuff at the bottom of it.. and also on some of the plants .. because she bought a new 20gal tank a few weeks back and done everything proper.. then added her lone moore but after about 3 weeks brown stuff started coming to the bottom and around the plants.. ? What advice could i give her on how to do water changes for her tank?

The only problem I see is feeding really. Becuase of moors eyes and shape they aren't as fast or acurate when getting food. So she'd have to make sure that the moors is getting food and the goldfish aren't eating it all. Usually i would say it's not a good idea to mix normal goldfish or comets with moors, fatails and the like but I suppose since this is kinda important she could just really make sure her moor is eating and not getting stressed by the other goldfish. Good luck.

Also for cleaning I would recommend using a vaccum for the gravel which makes the water changes easier really.
