Corn as food?

Have a friend who works at a local pet store, he had a customer ask if Corn was okay for loaches/botias to eat?
I... have no idea! haha. I make mine a home made frozen food, but I dont add corn!
Anyone know???

I wouldn't feed them corn. They might be able to eat it but probably wouldn't benefit. After all, how often are loaches going to come across corn in the wild?

In general, I advise against feeding terrestrial plants to aquatic animals.

Haha! Good point! Corns not really good for any animal. so why would it be good for them!
