Crayfish

i had a crayfish, bucky, in my 10 gal tank (he's just a wee little baby crayfish) and he killed one of my fish that repeatedly swam up to him so i decided ok just a stupid fish my others weren't hurt.. then learned to climb the stuff in there and he attacked my betta in there and my other fish's tail didn't kill either of them but i moved him to another tank.

Now i think he is sad that he can't attack anything. poor bucky.

Cray fish shouldn't be housed with other fish as they well hunt them.

aybe you can try and get him a fake aquarium fish to attack

I doubt that he's "sad" because he can't attack fish .

If you think he is, though, then buy feeders. Avoid goldfish and go for minnows.

Crayfish can be nasty little buggers. I've even had them shred plants in my tank. They'll destroy any fish they can get a hold of, and honestly, I'm sure that it is much more stimulating for them than pelleted food, feeder minnows might not be such a bad idea.

I love crayfish.

But yeah,do not house them with fish, unless you want the fish to be eaten. You learned your lesson now.I would get him some feeders.
