cycle going well?

so!! i've been cycling my tank a month now. i have algae growing on the 2 rocks and stuff! the water is still clear as day, but i have algae living! that's gotta be good eh? think we're ready for a fish now?

I would say a month is good and yes algae living is a good thing_ Happy fish shopping and beware of the dreaded multiple tank syndrome as fish keeping is very addicting

You have to test the water to see if it's done cycling . There shouldn't be any ammonia or nitrites...both are toxic to fish.

You were adding fish food, correct?
