Question Filter

Hello everyone,

I have a Whisper filter in my 10 gl aquarium. I have put a cut fish net with a rubber band to hold it so that the fish don't get "sucked" into the slots in the filter. I have a long air stone/hose in the back of the tank and the air must be getting into the filter. It makes a woosh sound frequently. Is this going to hurt my filter?

Thanks.

I doubt it but I don't use airstones ('cause I have plants) so I'm not completely sure. Maybe you could move the airstone if you're worried?

If it is near the filter then it probably is just a little air bubbles from the airstone but it shouldnt hurt your filter in any way...do like steph says and move it if the sound is bugging you. Like to the opposite side of the tank maybe

Lve Never Fails
