Fishy fin problem isolated =^-^=
Dear Paw Talker its been a long time.
After some time away I have finaly dicovered the cause of my Shububkin's fin fraying and falling apart.
SUGAR PUFFS !!
Yes the humble Sugar Puff is to blame for my fishies ills and if it harms them underwater , what is it doing to me when I eat them for brekfast.
I have been giving sugar puffs for treats ever since Sherwood my Mirror Carp reached a size slightly bigger than Mosschops , I have a picture of the worst effected fish Skinns and frankly I dont know how he is still alive , but I had to find out twhat was doing this , thats why I went along with the Sugar Puff idea and done an experiment.
Skinns's tail fin realy is down to the butt now so I am a bit worried hemay not recover , I have added some treatments to the tank but I am getting low on those too now.
I am hoping his tail fin will start to heal up in the next three days , if not it going to be a rocky road for Skinns and I may lose another coldwater fish , although the last fatality Roach 2 was due to a sudden Ammonium spike of which I have under control now.
