I love all the Severums, one of my very first cichlid species, ...got my first pair right after I first got into aquariums, back in the late 60's, ...right after they had invented water!

Mine were pretty peaceful, but they did tend to stand up to more aggressive fish like Convicts and Firemouths. I'd make sure to rearrange the rocks when you introduce either species so that no one is defending a home territory.

Personally, I like the Golden color morph a bit better. JMO.

Thanks!!
I will look more into them.I took an interest in them, but where they tend to be more peaceful I would worry abit that my convicts would be too hard on them. But if they are and the Severums don't stand up,I could always set up another tank just for the Severums.

I will definatly arrange the rocks, maybe add a new one or two...have to see! If I get any,it probably won't be until after Christmas.
