I feel so aweful! D:

I discovered that my pom-pom goldie Ninja had fin rot today, so I was cleaning my tank so he could have better water quality and a better chance at recovering before I put the medication in... and he was stalking my gravel syphen... and it sucked him up! Before I could stop it, he was already in the tube, so I just let him go thru it... and when he got in the bucket, his head was pretty much torn off... so obviously he died.
And I feel really bad about it...
Adn Im starting to get mad, cuz my fish are randomly dying, even tho my waters fine! ><
When Gooples died, I got my water tested and the pet store said it was one of the best theyve seen... The only thing is my PH is a tad high, but thats just cuz of where I live, and its still in the safe-zonse for the fishies.
Rawr. D:
RIP my wittle Ninja fishie

I'm sorry to hear about your fish...

mmm.. have you had the fish for very long? because maybe they just aren't very healthy in the shop where you got them from. I got a fantail from a petshop that had a little bit of black on it's fins, I thought it was just it's color but the black expanded and it started to just stay at the bottom of the tank. I put him in a different tank and he died a few days later. So it could be a case of just getting ill fish.

Good luck with the rest of the fish!

Sorry about your fish. Could be the store, yes.

Make sure you remove all fish before syphoning any water.

Ive been buying fish from the store for over 3 years, and their fishies are very healthy ^^ Fish are the only thing they sell, so they are well taken care of.
I got my goldie in early march I think...
