Killifish

I would like to know all there is to know about killifish.
Anybody have them? Can they be in community tanks? Any info or links provided would be helpful!

I don't have them but know people who do and have researched them alot (I'd like a pair of Gardneri Panchax Killifish in the future).

From what I've read they do best in species tanks rather then in a community set-up. Some can be in a community tank with really peaceful fish but I think it might be better to set up a small aquarium for just a couple killifish. Since they're fairly small they don't need a huge tank. Keep in mind they can be expensive too...or at least the ones I've seen were.

They're neat little fish, though...very pretty! There are many interesting kinds.

Thanks for the link !

I've seen them being sold as a kit on eBay, you know how there is sea monkey kits? Well this one comes with killifish eggs, java moss (I believe, could be wrong now) & brine shrimp eggs, plus a manual.
I'll look into them, theres many colors available too. Very beautiful markings on them
