Lost my Fishy :(

My beloved Fish-Fish passed away suddenly. Teddy found him floating on his side a few mins ago. He was a pet store Betta and in all honesty I have never had a Betta before. I thought I was taking good care of him I think it may have had something to do with my landlord treating our water and not telling us. I used filtered water when I cleaned his tank. I'm not sure how it all went down but I miss him R.I.P buddy

i'm sorry, it may not have been anything you did, they only live 2-3 years and are normally older when you buy them at stores

Hugs

It sucks losing fishy, he was my first fish, and I followed all the directions on how I should take care of him. I cleaned his tank, only fed him small amounts throughout the day so the tank didn't get scummy. I'm in tears here, over a fish! I never thought I'd get so attached to something I couldn't touch, or didn't make noise. God love him wherever he is. Fish are so underrated, everyone should have at least one in their lifetime.

It makes me appreciate my ratties more to have lost fishy, it just goes to show how fragile life can be. All the bad things happen to me right before Christmas.
