Meet Steve French! no pics :(
ahhh yes i am camera less
one day I'll get one, you'll see! lol
i picked up a Betta fish today from the pet store. it's a Canadian chain that so far i don't mind but we'll see what happens when the bigger store opens this June! the store i got him from is a small temporary version. mostly food bedding and toys. but they have a shelf of Bettas and they're amazing! i say that because they're kept in 2 cup bowls, they're all separated by something to block each other's view so they aren't angry all the time. and all of them are active when people go by or stop to look. like, I've never seen such active Bettas other than the one's I've owned which i feel lived happily. so i picked up the most active one of the bunch, he looks very healthy, very interested in his new home. he's a rainbow fish body with reddish burgundy fins, he's beautiful! we've named him Steve French (i like things out of the ordinary) lol. I have him in a 2 gallon glass bowl with a 0-3 gallon filter set on low. he has black and blue gravel and 2 green plastic grass-like plants. i also took a sprout of my live plant from by 10 gallon tank and put it in with him. so he has 3 plants, one which is live. it's by my patio window so i hope it gets lots of light and grows! i know Steve French will love that. I also threw in some glass marbles. god i love marbles, they look so great in tanks! The marbles I chose are clear or white so it looks like treasures
i'm very pleased with how it turned out. i hope i've described it well for you, since i can't get a pic
sorry guys. if i get this new job a camera is first on my list!
