Lightbulb Melafix

When using Melafix, should I put the dosage into my regular tank, or set up a quarantine tank for the afflicted fish? If I do need a quarantine tank, how long should the fish remain inside?

What is it being used for and what medications are being used with it? Melafix doesn't "treat" anything, it simply helps wounds heal without infection. What species of fish do you have? Some fish are very sensitive to Melafix and if you have a species like that, you'd need to use the Melafix in a separate tank.
