My Aquarium Photos

Ok, I finally did a bunch of uploading to flickr and have some pictures of the aquarium to share. It is a 75 gallon tropical freshwater tank. The fish that live there include 1 male Pearl Gourami, 3 female Bettas, 4 Rosy Barbs, 5 Long-finned Danios, 4 Swordtails, 4 Khulii Loaches, 3 Corys, 2 Plecos and 2 Snails. There are 4-5 live plants in there, but the rest are fake. I'm working on gradually increasing the live plants and replacing the fake ones. Anyway, let me know what you think. I'll just try two pictures of the tank itself to start with and see if it works. Sorry in advance if it doesn't.

It looks like that worked, so here are a few of the fish themselves.

All 4 of the Swordtails should be here somewhere, along with a few of their danio, betta and snail friends.

Here are some of a Khulii Loach, Pleco and Pearl Gourami.

I took many more, but these are what turned out (bet you guys are thankful that, I'm kind of camera happy). I'm still trying ot figure out the best way to get pictures of the tank.

in the middle pic, i see the betta, and i think daino, but what kind of fish is the redish one? i love it!

ohh i was wondering, how wide is your tank, or better yet what are the dimensions, bc i really like how wide it appears, is it an all-glass-aquarium brand?

Thanks guys for all the nice comments! I just revamped it a few weeks ago and we are really enjoying it again. Shannon picked out two Black Mystery Snails for it last week and named them Snaily and Blacky. The female bettas came not long after we redid the tank, but the other fish have been here for at least a year, most of them for a couple of years. We are thinking of adding some Blue Rams to it to finish it off. I had them years ago and just loved them.

Sara 8 - The Rosy Barbs are pretty, especially the males, but they are the ones that I have to watch with new fish. I have learned the hard way that it is better to add 3 or more fish to the aquarium to spread out their sassiness. Once the new fish have been in the tank for a few days, all calms down again, but the barbs can be kind of pesty the first few days. They say the males are only that red/orange during spawning times, but mine are always that color and they were not nearly that bright when I picked them up in the store. Of course, one or the other of the females always looks pregnant, lol.

Skratikans - The middle fish in that picture is a female swordtail. I think they call her coloration pineapple or something like that. I'm not sure what brank of tank it is, my dad bought it for me second hand. The tank is approx. 48 in. long, 18 in. wide and 22 in. high.
