my first cycled tank

as of yesterday my tank was "cycled"
no ammonia or nitrItes at my nitrAtes are right where they are supposed to be.
i brought home another betta who is currently in quarinteen (sp) and i am in the process of dividing my 5.5 to house my othe betta and another snail.
i hope i am not over stocking. i will just have to watch water quality and be religious about my water changes!
i am very very pleased!

It shouldn't be overstocking with just two bettas and a snail but I personally wouldn't get another snail. Snails need at least 2.5 gallons each. Which that might seem fine but since the bettas are in there too I'm not sure how well a second snail would do...

Congrats on cycling the tank, though! I just cycled a 10-gallon myself so I know how great it feels, hehe .

Congratulations on the first tank cycling. I bet you are relieved it is over. I remember when i first did mine and i was counting down the days till i could think about adding the fish
