They do lay eggs. Lixx was just saying that her fishies eggs survived the tank cleaning, so you never know whats possible. I think it was your Molly though.

Yup, they were. I didn't even see them. When they mate it looks like they are fighting and the eggs just get flung everywhere. So I had no idea they were in there. Had I seen them, I would not have cleaned the tank!

Owned by 26 chins, 7 cats, 2 dogs, and 7 aquariums

That's so neat. XD Fishies are awesome. My friend had some.. fish, I;m not sure what, and she had babies like.. every few weeks for a year or five. XD Actually only about a year. But there were a LOT. She was giving out bowls of babies to people at work!

here's an updated pic! (they pretty much look the same, just a little bigger). and even though it doesn't look like it, there are about 25!

It kind of looks like they are baby mollies. Do you keep them in that net? Most pet stores that sell fish and fish supplies will carry a baby saver.

Yeah you can buy a little plastic floating thing so they cans swim around more. They look like mollies to me too. Are you feeding them fish food for baby fish?

i know about the breeding net, but this is exactly the same. it's just a little smaller.

i went to get fry food, and they said to just feed them this stuff i already had. it's called "daphnia" and it's a white powdery supplement.

they are doing well!

Yeah, daphnia is good for them. They have plastic floaty things that you can put them in too. Just wanted to let you know. You can see them better in those things.
