The 2 smaller ones are on a base of flat fairly rigid plastic....the larger one is built onto a terracotta flower pot

You'll need

The 'base' (as stated above)
Smooth river stones (large)
Smooth aquarium stones (small)
Plastic or Silk plants (cut them to what you want)

and the most important is the Aquarium silicon..please ensure it IS safe for Aquarium use!!

If what you are making is really large, you will have to support it while the silicon partly sets...or you may come back to find its collapsed and it is difficult to fix then. For real large pieces i do it in sections...slowly building it up as each section cures. The plants i add last once the general shape is how i want it

Once created they must be let to cure for a minimum of 24hrs...then a 2hr soak in some clean water...and finally your creations are ready for use

It is a lot of fun...and a heap cheaper then the ones you buy in the shops. A bonus is you can make them the size, shape & colours you want

That is so cool, thanx. When I had my tank set up I just placed the rocks securely in the tank and then moved them around when I wanted a change. This seems a lot easier and looks WAY better.

Thank you

The goldie tank got pulled down...full clean and is now back up with re-arranged decor *L*

I noticed this morning the tank had a slight lean to the front...upon investigation...the stand was very rocky...well too rocky for my piece of mind...it had to be emptied to fix the stand...soooo while it was done i did a full clean

I'll get some updated pics shortly...just gotta wait for batteries to re-charge
