new aquarium pictures!

well the last tank I had was about a gallon, but over break my betta grew a ton! So it was time to upgrade. He's still adjusting to all the extra room, and the new additions...like the dinasaur in flippers. :]
He is all alone, I think he likes it better. When I tried having a snail last fall he kept attacking it, so I think he'll just be a bachelor. The pictures are blurry, he's a swimmer! He name is Sphinc.

he really likes it! he has seemed to be a little depressed the past 2 weeks, I dont know why. I'm hoping a nice big tank with lots of room to swim will cheer him up. I thought he might be sick, but I looked at all the different sicknesses and he doesnt fit any. hopefully he perks up.

My turtles loved it when I adjusted their water depth to 1 foot. Im sure he loves it, as my Goldfish loves my new 2 gal from the 1/2.

maybe he's tired from all that swimming around in the new tank? I like you set up.

He is a beautiful betta! Isn't it too bad that they have to live alone?

I wish I could get him a friend, but last fall he was so aggresive towards each snail I put in. I'm sure it wouln't be AS bad since its a bigger tank so they each have their own space...but still. I'm too nervous to do it.

Some bettas are more aggressive then others! So he may not even be able to be kept with anything else.

Hold a mirror up to him and see if he flares.I have read that when a betta doesn't flare, they are usually sick.I am not sure how true that is,but it does make sense.
