New Betta =D

Yesterday I went to the petstore to get more water primrose (they didn't have any) and I came home with a new betta . He's a blue, red, and purple crowntail. He was in this tiny clip-on isolation tank where he couldn't even swim in a full circle . I'm very tempted to go back and get his brother too...I just hate seeing them like that.

Anyways, he's in a smallish tank right now until this weekend when I can get him a proper one. Even though it's small he seems quite happy and not only did he eat the first night but he also tried building a small bubblenest .

Here's a picture though it doesn't do him justice...his coloring in real life is much more vibrant:

I'll have to get a picture of him flaring some time since he looks absolutely stunning .

Congrats! He is gorgeous! You are sure to give him a wonderful life, what a lucky guy!
Since you got a new betta, maybe it's time for me to get one too?

Well, they're completely different fish. And guppies are livebearers and much smaller.
