Some Fishtank Pics

I cleaned the fishtank today, and took some new pics. Plant population has been growing nicely, and I have some new additions. 8) Sorry the pics aren't as clear as I would like them to... taking pics of tanks is not easy at all... 8)

Whole tank:

Nice pics!

I don't think I mentioned it but I recently started a community tank but I don't want to take pics until I have all the plants and stuff.

By the way, I'm so jealous you got a gourami! I want one badly, hehe.

Thanks! Hmmm... I always thought the regular neon tetras were normally that color (blue and red) Aren't you confusing them with the glass fish? Which are painted in different colors and the process weakens and kills most of them?

Neon tetras are naturally red and blue. Painted glassfish are injected with dye if that's what you're thinking of.

Also, there are 'Fruit Tetras' that are White Skirt Tetras that have been painted with dye and usually are given names like 'strawberry tetra', 'blueberry tetra', etc.

I found this article that might be helpful: http://freshaquarium.about.com/cs/be...aintedfish.htm

I used to keep Painted Glass Fish when I had a tank, their colours faded after a while, but they were great little fishies.
