canadian goose with broken leg

I was playing golf last tuesday and a playing partner hit his ball and Hit a goose in the middle of the fairway breaking his leg , Saw the bird again today after work on the 9th hole on the challenger golf course in Ville St-Laurent , was about 4 feet away and he hobbled into the water would be easy to catch with some sort of net with someone that has experience , I am willing to help if needed

id suggest calling ur local wild life rescue

Or even animal control. I live in a very nature rich county/city so animal control often finds themselves picking up wildlife. Anything like a goose would have to probably go to a sanctuary and rehabilitation center.

Good luck. I love them. They are very beautiful geese.

Unfortunately where I live, even the wildlife rescue organizations aren't very ready to help animals in need. Usually they only respond to incidences involving endangered or threatened species :\
