Dwarf rabbit in need of good home by May!

I will be graduating in May and need to find a new mom for my dwarf rabbit, Mr. J. I live in Champaign, IL and am willing to drive a reasonable distance if the adoption home is perfect!

Mr. J is a two year old white and grey dwarf rabbit. I don't know his exact breed but his mother was a dwarf rabbit. I've had him since he was just seven weeks old and he is in excellent health. He was neutered when he was almost one year old.

He isn't a lap rabbit but loves to be snuggled and massaged! Mr. J is a healthy eater and litter box trained. He loves naps and treats anytime of the day!

Mr. J is free to a good home. I wouldn't recommend him to a home with children as he needs calm hands to pick him up to make him feel safe.

May is fast approaching and I will most likely be relocating for my new job so please if you know of anyone able to adopt a rabbit let me know.

I would contact local rabbit rescues in your area and ask for courtesy listings as well. Also, rabbits can travel quite well -- our director moved from NC to WI with 10 rabbits and all came through fine -- if you're concerned that he can't travel.

I would take him but my family would not approve. Good luck though. Try posting in several forums.
