8 month Corn snake not eating? Please help!

I have an 8 month old male corn snake. I have had him for 3 months and he has eaten every week for the first 8 weeks then he just stopped. He has about the same activity level. He may be losing some weight but I really can't tell. I feed him frozen/ thawed pinkies. Any ideas? Please help, I'm concerned about him. thanks

You didn't give much to go on, there could be any number of things at work here.

Just a few questions you should be able to answer. Any one or more of these could cause him to go off feed. I'd take him to a vet pronto.

How big is he? How big is his tank?
Does he have a small hide, one which he can get in and feel the sides all around him?
Temp? Day/night/basking?
Humidity?
Been to the vet?
Disturbances?
Food fresh? Thawed and warmed in hot water?

He is about 24 inches. 10 gallon aquarium. warm side is about 86, cool side about 76. He has three places to hide, one on each side and the food dish in the middle is a usual place. the hide on the warm side gives him the ability to touch all the sides. Not sure of the humidity. Has not been to the vet. No disturbances that I know of. the food is fresh and thawed but I haven't been warming it up in water. Also, he has excellent colors and he shed about two weeks before all this began.

It sounds like there are no environmental problems.

Is he acting hungry? ...by that I mean active and searching the enclosure?

You might try thawing the food in a cup of very hot water. Present the food while it's still warm (not hot). I had a milksnake that refused room temp food.

You might need to try this a couple of times.

You might also try getting fresh killed (still warm) mice. (This means you may need to buy live and dispatch them yourself.)

If none of this helps, you need to consult a vet that specializes in reptiles.
