Yes I agree it is not a beginner snake, I would love a corn thou but yeah money will be tight while the girls are being spayed(as both boys are neutered). GOD I NEED A EFFIN JOB, I hope you will stay on topic on here (as I like to wander from topic myself ) Maybe you can help me find a corn instead?

Where do you live? Being that it is spring now you should wait and get one of the summer hatchlings. The babies are sooooo cute. Usually the hatchinlings start hatching around the end of June/early July and within a few weeks are ready to go on to their new homes. If you go through a breeder make sure you get one that is an established eater and you will probably want to make sure that they feed frozen/thawed from the start. That is what we do here. We have NEVER had a corn that refused frozen/thawed from the first feeding.

NEVER buy a corn from a pet store chain such as Petco. I would love to have them shut down..grrrr. We got our first corn there not knowin any better. He is doing well now but it took a lot of time to get him established eating and I don't think they even feed them mice there. He was afraid of the food for a while. He is about 3 years old but looks more like a 2 yr old as far as size goes.

If you want any info on corns and how to chose one etc.. I would love to help you out. Just let me know.
