There are probably tons of great breeders out there, those are just the two I've dealt with personally .

You don't have to feed crickets to crested geckos. They do fine on Crested Gecko Diet. Supplementing is great but you can use different feeders if you want .

Anyways, it probably wouldn't be worth it to get so few when you factor in shipping (which is also why most sites don't let you buy small amounts). Do you have a local pet store?

If its the only thing in there, they will eat CGD after a few days.

I would stock up on it, and get crickets when you can. And if you were to get them online, maybe you should get more if you can't get out often.

`it should be 1 part cgd to 2 parts water...consistancy of baby food...you can also feed your crestie apricot baby food as long as he's still getting his regular crested gecko diet...we can't even get our gecko to eat crickets...but we now know he likes wax worms...we give him about 5 every weekend and repashy all week. You could just get your guy crickets on the weekend if the store has them in stock..make sure you are dusting them in calcium

Oh NO, NO, NO! Baby food = bad. Please do not feed baby food, please!!!

Crested gecko diet is a complete diet so you don't need to supplement with crickets, but you can it you want to.

A lot of breeders have stopped shipping for the cooler months, so a reptile expo might be a better choice if you are looking for a gecko soon. You will also be able to see the gecko in person before purchasing it.

You can make enough for a few days and referigerate it in a sealed container.

Calm down now Canadian Critter...no one said to feed the gecko ONLY baby food...it was only a suggestion like YOU suggested crickets "if you want". No crestie has ever died from having apricot baby food as a treat. I said to make sure they are still getting their crested gecko diet. We are all grateful for your knowledgable information but you have to relax and stop shooting down everyone's "suggestions" ...no body wants to hurt the geckos

Baby food is to high in sugar and is unacceptable to give to crested geckos. I am not 'shooing down' anybodys suggestions I am simply informing that baby food as a staple or as a treat is unacceptable.
