Can I put one Crested Gecko in a 20 gal tank?

Or is that too much space for it?
And do I have to set it on end, or can I keep it horizontal?

Crested geckos are arboreal and need a vertical tank with things to climb on. I'm not positive, but I'm sure one would be happy in a 20 gallon.

A 20 gallon is good for one gecko. It is though suggested that you keep smaller geckos in Kritter Keepers and other small enclosures.

The enclosure should be set on end to make it as tall as possible

20 gallons is great for an adult crested gecko. If you're getting a hatchling I would start it out in something smaller, though, until you know s/he's healthy and eating .
