stop rattlesnake roundups!! join neopets.com!!!
STOP impaction and bacterial infections in leopard geckos and bearded dragons!! it can be prevented! use solid substrates like tile, newspaper, slate, shelfliner, newspaper,or reptile carpet...save a reptiles life! there may only be a 10-50 percent chance of them getting inpacted but why take that chance??????

Nice looking guy. Monitors are tough little cookies to handle. Well, at least for me they were. Best of luck, and may you and your monitor live many more years together.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (1 Corinthians 13:4)

Most Nile Monitors are not the most happy little lizards that people think, thats is why in the pet trade they sell them so cheap, not to mention there shear size.We also oun a Timor Monitor (Dwarf Species of monitor!) her name is Maggie. Here is a pic of her!
