Iguana help needed!

I began to notice some of the signs of being gravid in my iguana a couple weeks ago (this would be her second time, but, I didn't even own her the first time). I set up a covered cat litter box with soil in it for her to nest. She seemed fine before I left for Canada a week ago (I had a friend give her food and clean while I was gone). When I returned I found her in the back corner of the dirt box, and cold as ice. I moved her to her basking area and she seemed ok.

Lately though she's been spending more and more time in the dirt box. Is this a normal part of being gravid? Please, any advice will be appreciated.

Generally you want the nest box to be somewhat warm. At least in the mid 80s. If she's not feeling well, it may just be a nice dark spot for her to go and hide. Igs can be pretty picky about how they want their nest box before they'll actually lay in it. The soil needs to be pretty deep so they feel secure enough to leave their eggs in there.

Aside from that, make sure she's getting adequate calcium intake and good basking time in. Its a hard time on them.

She sits in her corner, singing herself to sleep.
Wrapped in all of the promises, that no one seems to keep.

Great advice, Rav, as usual.

Zoo, I hope your girl lays her eggs soon. Please keep us posted.
