Talking Little Wink is Growing Up!!

I think its about time for some new pics of the little guy!! Hes gotten so big- he is 10 inches long now! (Well not really THAT big, but Im still proud LOL!)
As of Saturday, Wink officially graduated to medium crickets! He was always getting small ones before
And his biggest achievement yet... Eating his salad ON HIS OWN! He still doesnt love it, but at least I dont have to literally shove it in his mouth anymore.
I also finally gave him a 20 gal long viv! I made the lid myself out on a NIC cube and duct tape LOL. Its ugly as hec, but hey, it works! I still need to upload a pic of it.

This is how I found him sleeping one morning

More Coming!

After a bath

More morning beardie!!

Meeting Smudge for the first time! Wink licked Smudges nose (LOL, I LOVE how they randomly lick everything!) and Smudge lost interest after he decided Wink wasnt edible.
Smudge is always a little attention hog when I feed Wink... He wants to eat Winks food, but I dont give him bugs, so Smudge picked up my bug cups and tossed them as far as he could! Someones a little jealous!

Enjoy! Ill add more soon

BTW: He has already grown 2 more inches since all these pics were taken! I already need some new ones!

Thanks everyone!
Lisa~ You should get a beardie! LOL, I can totally see you walking around places with one on your shoulder
And Im probably going to the reptile store to get him sexed this weekend. The vet thinks that he looks like a probable boy, but someone else suggested that he might be a girl because of his size. So I guess well find out!
Im hoping for a boy though... Im just so used to calling Wink a him!

Bearded dragons dont generally live quite that long- 10-15 years is good for a properly cared for beardie, and Ive heard of older. But alot of people dont know how to care for them, so the over all average is 8-12 years.
Im sewing blankets for everyone tonight, so Wink is getting his first official blankie! Right now, he just has a little scrap of fleece. We got everyone this super cute penguin pattern!!
BTW, all of my pets get their own blankets... Getting your own blankie is kind of an intiation at my house! LOL, I know Im weird.
And Im sewing names into them this time! Im so excited to see how they turn out! Haha

Thanks cute I've seen pictures of beardies really enjoying snoozing in their hammocks. I was thinking of making some for the geckos, but they wouldn't use them anyways, and they would get ruined really fast from the humidity.
