Mountain Horned Dragon Eggs

I bought a mountain horned dragon about 2 months ago from PetSmart and it just laid 8 eggs about 5 days ago. I did not know she was pregnant.( I just thought she was fat ). They came out a little strange looking (small dents and kind of lumpy). I was wondering if they could still be alright. They must be still alive because they have not rotted and they don't smell bad. I fed her one large calcium fed cricket a day. And I placed the eggs in damp soil and I keep them at about 70 degrees.

I just needed to ask someone, most other sights ignored me. I just wanted to know if they are alright or are they going to come out looking like Wrong Turn 3.

I had photos but my post count is to low to put them up.

I'd incubate a little cooler, maybe 65-68.

Google up a few caresheets and see what things they have in common, these are the usually the most correct answers. The areas where the various caresheets vary is where you might have some leeway.

Good luck.

I would definatly feed your lizard more. A couple crickets every other day.

Okay, I'll feed her more and keep the eggs slightly cooler. But are they alright? I'm not sure what to do with them. Should I just give them to the pet store or just raise them myself?

You can use an LED light to 'candle' the eggs to check for any signs of life within the eggs.

I would personally keep them until they are eating well and gaining wieght and then find homes for them.
