Need advise on a lizzard

We've purchased a Exo Terra terrarium of the size 12" x 12" x 18" and we were wanting advise on what type of lizzard would be best in a tank of this size?

Thanks

You could house a small crested gecko till it needed to upgrade. Possible a house gecko. Its only about 11 gallons so you are limited with what you can keep.

If you bought if from the store I would return it a get a bigger size. You are really limited on what you can keep in a 12x12x18 since it arboreal and only 11.22 US gallons.

Im pretty sure its aboreal.
This is the terrarium she is talking about:

Personally, I would just go with a regular 10gal (or what ever size you want) tank. You can use it for terrestrial (sp??) lizards, or you can turn it or its side the tall wat to make it aboreal. Most lizards will need a bigger tank though...

Yeah that's the tank I was thinking about. There isn't many aboreal lizards that can live their life in a tank that size.

I am pretty sure that you could get a green anole, 1-2 could fit in the cage, but remember, the bigger the better!

A house gecko (or green treefrog, if you have any interest in frogs) might work but that's pretty tiny! Could you return it and get a larger size? That'll give you more options .
