He looks very handsome now that he's no longer red!! Jess your single handedly doing the beardie world a favor! TY-from all of us new found beardie lovers!

Incidentally I learned a valuable lesson today...just because a beardie is shedding, and has a very itchy looking piece of skin just kinda hanging there, he will not thank you for giving it a tug! He will in fact puff up and hiss at you!

You can injure the lizard if you pull the shed off. You should refrain from peeling unless its just stuck pieces.

LOL! He wasnt too thrilled, was he? If his shed is sticking on him too long, you can put him in his bath and scrub him with a tooth brush... They seem to actually enjoy it!

BTW, I just posted new pics! http://www.paw-talk.net/forums/f75/s...age-57129.html

Thanks CC & Jess, I did learn that next time I see this....I can, and will resist the temptation to help out! Sam is not too happy with me right now, he likes to hold a grudge. He didn't even want me to mist him...Keith had to do it, he'll forgive me I hope!
